Fleet Washing
Basic truck washing is performed daily by our mobile units. Over 600 of these vehicles operate daily serving small and large companies. Our field people all wash vehicles according to procedures that we have standardized around the country. All our equipment is built in our own manufacturing plant in Fairfield, NJ and Phoenix AZ. All cleaning chemicals used are biodegradable and all waste water is processed through our complete recovery system.

Trucking companies and refining companies have come under increasing pressure from State, Federal, and Local authorities to comply with regulations concerning vehicle washing, especially when the terminal is located near a stream or tidal area or where the runoff enters a storm drain. Present regulations do not prohibit vehicle washing per se, although some people are under that impression, but rather to prohibit certain contaminants found in effluent wash water from draining into storm drains. Fleetwash has devised methods to prevent this water from entering storm drains without getting involved in high-priced treatment facilities or recycling equipment.

We can therefore provide vehicle and fleet owners with simple, low cost washing without violating any environmental regulations. This procedure can be used in any terminal, without capital investments.

Fleetwash assumes full responsibility for the isolation, collection, safe transportation, and final elimination of all wash water involved in our washing process.

The water we remove from your premises is taken to our facility where the oil and solids are separated and the remaining water filtered and discharged to a sanitary drain. Since this material is not hazardous there is no need for a manifest. Fleetwash will provide you with a receipt for the water removed from your property. The small amount of oil and solids separated from your waste water is put into drums and picked up by a licensed waste hauler; we will provide you with paid receipts for the waste removed from our facility upon request.
