On day of service, we check in with the customer and then proceed to the rear of building where the compactors are placed.
Our trained crews set-up our patented water recovery system to control and manage waste water from the cleaning process.
Then Fleetwash crews will cycle the unit, and complete lock out, tag out procedure. We will remove turnbuckles; pull box from housing and start to remove trash and litter from compactor area including beneath compactor mechanisms and housings.
Three Main types of Compactors which we can perform complete service:
1. Pit style Stationary Compactors:
a. Lift diamond plate pit cover within location for pit style
compactor cleaning.
b. Advance press head and lock out to access and clean pit.
2.
Exterior Stationary Compactors:
a. Remove press head and cylinder chamber side access panels.
b. Remove all solid and liquid wastes and residues within chamber to ensure mechanisms can move
freely.
c. Clean all chamber surfaces.
3.
Self -Contained Compactors:
a. Remove press head & cylinder chamber access panels.
b. Remove all solid and liquid wastes and residues within chamber to ensure mechanisms can move
freely.
c. Clean all chamber surfaces.
We will clean all compactor mechanisms, housings, equipment, pits, and the concrete pad beneath. Our final steps to the process would be to grease ground rollers, nose rollers, and turnbuckles. We then push the box back and reconnect turnbuckles. We will install chute rubbers/gaskets if needed. Finally before leaving premises, Fleetwash crews would cycle through the compactor to ensure compactor is operating correctly.
